Cacique Txua Pakamayte
Txuã Pakamayte is an Indigenous person of the Huni Kuin people from Acre. He is the Chief (Cacique) of the Txanya village, a student of sacred forest medicines, the son of a pajé (shaman), an artist, an artisan, and an organizer for his people. Txuã carries his knowledge throughout Brazil, fostering his culture and sharing his ancestry to protect and demarcate his village.
Txuã plays a major role in my life, as he was the one who introduced me to the sacred forest medicines, which completely changed my life in 2019. Since then, we have created a bond of friendship and brotherhood where we learn from one another, strengthening ourselves in our spiritual mission and our connection to nature.
To Txuã Pakamayte, his family and village, and to the Huni Kuin people, all my gratitude!
